2. Inset sinks – this type of sink sits on top of the worktop and are the most popular sinks and for many years they have been the sink of choice. They are practical and with lots of great new designs on the market they can look stunning in any kitchen. Materials used for this type of sink include stainless steel, ceramic, composite, glass and resin.
3. Farmhouse/Butler or Belfast sinks are a great addition to the country look and can make a shaker kitchen really stand out. Materials used for this type of sink are ceramic, porcelain and stainless steel.

One thing to think about is water pressure - some water feeds are gravity fed so you might have to opt for a low water pressure tap, but that’s no problem for us as we have taps for every water system.
